This is Rufus Reed's
1967 Chevy II. It has a 406 small Block Chevy, Turbo 350, Ford
Nine Inch Rearend, running consistant 10:80's. Excellent Street
Cruiser. Can You Say SLAMMED. Look how low this car is. A full
custom frame was built by Ed Nelson to accomidate the 31x13x15
rear slicks and the 24" Good Years in the front. An Ed Quay
Rear Aluminum Spoiler keeps the rear tires planted on the way
down the 1/4 mile and custom dashboard with Autometer gauges
keep track of the vital engine temperatures and pressures. Since
this picture has been taken it has been updated with fiberglass
bumpers and a new small block powerplant and Turbo 400 with a
transbrake is being constructed. |
