Project: Fourlink Installation

Here are a few before pictures to look at. If you notice from the picture on the main StreetMetal page that this car twists real bad. We noticed that the original fourlink in this car was not aligned properly and decided to take out the old frame and install a new Pro Series welded Frame from S&W Race Cars.

Since the interior and paint are all finished on this car, we decided to only cut what we need out of the way for now, trying to keep as much of the stock floor pans as possible. As you can see from the pictures the trunk floor was removed to make room for the frame rails to attach to the valance panel. The rear down bars on the roll cage were kept long so that they can be trimmed to fit to the new frame.
